Persian for AnySoftKeyboard 20120613-persian-numbers

Persian (Farsi) and Pinglish (Finglish) keyboard layout is now available for use with AnySoftKeyboard.

Installation:

1. This layout pack is an extension for AnySoftKeyboard.
2. Ensure you have Persian/Arabic fonts installed on your device before using this language pack. You can refer to http://j.mp/farsiandroid for installation instructions.
3. Locate AnySoftKeyboard in the Android Market and proceed with the installation.
4. Install the Persian layout pack.
5. To activate, navigate to Settings > Languages and select AnySoftKeyboard. Then, choose the Persian layout from AnySoftKeyboard's Settings > Keyboards menu.
6. To set it as the default layout, long-press on a text field, select "Input method," and choose the Persian layout.

Notes:

The Pinglish keyboard features a layout similar to the English keyboard with differences in the suggested wordlist. To switch to this layout while using the Persian layout, tap on ' > ABC >'. For instance, with English and Persian (Pinglish) layouts enabled, the sequence will be English (tap > ABC >) Persian (tap > ABC >) Persian (Pinglish) (tap > ABC >) English...

Important Notes:

1. Ensure you have Persian/Arabic fonts installed to view letters correctly.
2. This application may not be compatible with all devices (tested on Android 2.2 - CM6) due to Android's limited support for Arabic/Persian languages. For assistance, contact the developer via email or their website.
3. Explore alternative letters by tapping and holding certain characters.
4. If you possess a more comprehensive wordlist for Persian and Pinglish, reach out to the developer. The current lists are still in beta.
5. This is an open-source application. Contributions are welcome at https://github.com/pi3ch/persian_anysoftkeyboard
6. Submit any issues on GitHub for resolution instead of Google Play comments.
